Ahmad Ahmad makes history as he unseats the longest serving Confederation of African Football (CAF) president Issa Hayatou.

The Madagascan football chief Ahmad Ahmad has defeated the current Confederation of African Football (CAF) president, Issa Hayatou of Cameroun to emerge as the new president of CAF.

After votes counting it shows Ahmad Ahmad got 34 votes against Isa Hayatou 20 votes.
