U.S based Nollywood actress, Stella Damasus has called out first ladies (wives of governors) in Nigeria on her Twitter page, over the abduction of Ese Oruru. The actress turned singer, is calling for justice for the teenager, who was forced into marriage and apparently defiled, before she was freed two days ago. According to her, it is an opportunity for the first ladies to act and ensure that she will get justice, and force such predators to desist from such act.

“Are there any First Ladies in Nigeria? Are they all deaf or blind to social media and the news? #JusticeForEse

Do we really have to degenerate to bloodshed & chaos before these women in power understand how to use their powers? #JusticeForEse.

How sad. But we will press forward with thanksgiving that she is alive & back with family. Next Step- #JusticeForEse

I wonder what our leaders would have done if this were to be one of their daughters. #JusticeForEse,” she said.
